We are pleased to present second collection “Light dream” from April 29.
Matka silk is hand-spun and hand-woven in Bengal from wild cocoons in South India. The rich expression is created by rolling a “matka” (unglazed water bottle) while twisting the yarn.
This silk, the thread of which is extracted after the moth inside the cocoon has flown away. We made a robe with Matoka silk, which is very soft and pleasant to the touch. The more you wear it, the more it becomes textured and familiar. Also featured are Noragi japanese work clothes with a rustic texture made of cotton cloth hand-spun and hand-woven in Bengal.
We are looking forward to seeing you.
